if girls had wings, would we nest? was an installation at Blindspot Galleries in 2004.

The magnets were printed with relief and silkscreen and installed on the white minivan. Inspired by fairy tales in which girls turn into birds, I was interested in the choices women make between nesting and autonomy. The images of the nest and the wing were printed both whole and in fragments and available to be taken off the minivan, as viewers chose to nest or to fly.
